I wasn’t sure if I had anything to post today… then I noticed in my diary, I had noted down an Alice Russell gig. I don’t think I made it in the end, which is a shame as she has an immense voice, but it did remind me of this elusive track…

Ok, so you’re thinking ‘Pah, elusive?! That is so easily found, you are particularly rubbish lady!‘ (and let’s face it, you’re pretty rude). I see where you’re coming from, this is not new and it’s crazy easy to find excellent recordings of this cover.

BUT… This particular live performance comes with added strings. It really is the best version and well worth listening to. Chris Cornell… you got nothing on this!
